PdfCraft 是用纯 Rust 从零重写的开源 PDF 阅读器 + 编辑器，目标是复刻 Adobe Acrobat：读、整理页面、合并拆分、加密、注释表单，全都有。跟之前介绍过的 PhotoCraft 是同一个 ArtCraft 家族的作品。2026 年 9 月底公开，已有 1.5 万 Star，MIT / Apache-2.0 双许可。

• 渲染保真：各国文字、竖排日文、彩色 emoji、渐变、透明混合都按原作者意图渲染；深缩放用瓦片保持清晰；983 个 pdf.js 测试文件零崩溃；
• 页面整理：像桌上理牌一样旋转、删除、插入、移动页面，撤销深度足够，保存是增量+原子写入，合过的文件逐像素与源文件一致；
• 合并拆分：合并自动建书签、链接和表单字段无损迁移；拆分按每 n 页或指定页；
• 加密支持：从 40 位 RC4 到 AES-256 的完整标准安全处理器，用户/所有者密码、附件加密都支持，尊重原作者的权限设置；
• 注释表单图层附件：批注是线程化对话，表单字段保持可交互，图层可开关，附件可打开保存；
• 跨平台 + 本地优先：macOS / Windows / Linux / FreeBSD 原生 + WebAssembly 网页版；无账号、无遥测、文档不出本机；
• Agent-ready：pdfcraft-cli 命令行（查看结构、提文本、旋转删除改标题、合并拆分），AI 也能直接操作 PDF。

按 ⌘K 呼出命令面板搜索所有工具，长文档有书签、缩略图、页码标签导航。ArtCraft 商标不在开源范围内，fork 需移除。

PdfCraft is an open-source PDF reader and editor written from scratch in pure Rust — a clean-room reimplementation of Adobe Acrobat: read, organize, combine, split, secure, annotate. From the same ArtCraft family as the previously covered PhotoCraft. Public since late September 2026, 15K stars, dual-licensed MIT / Apache-2.0.

• Faithful rendering: world scripts, vertical Japanese, colour emoji, gradients and transparency render as intended; tiled deep zoom stays sharp; 0 crashes across the 983-file pdf.js corpus;
• Page organizing: rotate, delete, insert and move pages like cards on a table, with deep undo; saves are incremental and atomic, combined files render pixel-identical to sources;
• Combine & split: merging builds bookmarks automatically with links and form fields carried over intact; split every n pages or at chosen pages;
• Encryption: the full standard security handler, from 40-bit RC4 to AES-256, user/owner passwords and attachment encryption, honouring author permissions;
• Comments, forms, layers, attachments: threaded comment conversations, interactive form fields, toggleable layers, openable/savable attachments;
• Cross-platform & private: native macOS / Windows / Linux / FreeBSD plus a WebAssembly web build; no account, no telemetry, documents never leave your machine;
• Agent-ready: pdfcraft-cli for inspecting, extracting text, editing, combining and splitting — AI can drive PDFs too.

⌘K searches every tool and command; long documents get bookmarks, thumbnails and page-label navigation. ArtCraft trademarks are excluded from the open-source grant — forks must remove them.
