REA（Reverse Engineer Anything） 是一个开源 MCP 项目，核心理念就一句话：让 AI agent 帮你逆向任何东西——从应用的功能行为，一路深挖到原生二进制。2026 年 4 月公开，已有 24.4 万 Star，是逆向 + AI 这个赛道里热度最高的项目之一。

• 一句话上手：npx rea-agents setup 把 REA 注册进你的 agent（支持 Claude Code、Codex、Cursor、Gemini CLI 等），然后直接问：”帮我搞懂备忘录 App 的搜索是怎么实现的，拿出证据，再给我项目里实现一个类似的”；
• 覆盖面极广：原生二进制（可用 Hopper、Ghidra 或 IDA 做引擎）、Go / Rust 二进制、WASM、EVM 字节码、SQLite 数据库、JavaScript / Electron 应用、网站、.NET 程序集、Android APK、固件、网络抓包、逻辑信号……基本上逆向能碰到的目标类型它都接了；
• 本地运行、结论带证据：分析全在本地跑，返回的每个结论都附带证据和局限性说明，不会让 AI 瞎编；
• 真实案例：官方 Showcase 包括 DX-Ball 音效声相计算的重构（还原出全部 63 个字节的编译后函数）、Notion 的 Electron 剪贴板桥追踪、东方 Project TH04 的 DOS 弹幕环计算恢复；
• 终端也能用：同一套能力有 CLI 命令，不想走 agent 也行。

跟昨天发的 IDA MCP 相比，REA 的野心大得多：IDA MCP 是”让 AI 开 IDA”，REA 是”一个 MCP 覆盖全部逆向场景”。MIT 开源，迭代极快（已有 36 个 release），建议保持更新。注意：官方提醒只从本仓库、rea.tools 官网或 npm 的 rea-agents 包获取，谨防同名仿冒仓库。

REA (Reverse Engineer Anything) is an open-source MCP project with one big idea: let AI agents reverse engineer anything — from an app’s observable behavior down to native binaries. Public since April 2026, it has 244K stars, making it one of the hottest projects at the intersection of reverse engineering and AI.

• One-command setup: npx rea-agents setup registers REA with your agent (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI and more), then just ask: “Understand how search works in the Notes app, show me the evidence, and build a similar feature for my project”;
• Huge coverage: native binaries (Hopper, Ghidra or IDA as engines), Go / Rust binaries, WASM, EVM bytecode, SQLite databases, JavaScript / Electron apps, websites, .NET assemblies, Android APKs, firmware, network captures, logic signals — nearly every target type a reverser meets;
• Local analysis with evidence: everything runs locally, and every finding comes with its evidence and limitations, so the agent can’t just hallucinate;
• Real showcases: reconstructing DX-Ball’s sound-pan calculation (reproducing all 63 compiled function bytes), tracing Notion’s Electron clipboard bridge, recovering a DOS bullet-ring calculation from Touhou TH04;
• CLI included: the same workflows are available from the terminal if you’d rather not go through an agent.

Compared to yesterday’s IDA MCP (“let AI drive IDA”), REA aims much higher: one MCP for every reverse-engineering scenario. MIT licensed, moving fast (36 releases already) — keep it updated. Note: the authors warn to get it only from this repo, rea.tools, or the rea-agents npm package; similarly-named repos may be impostors.
